FURIABAR – . FURIA BAR was one of the newest gay / gay-friendly bars in Buenos Aires. It was located in Las Cañitas, Palermo, an area with lots of restaurants. The bar was very popular with people who attend later, the bas has closed but they still organise the FIESTA FURIOSA and other parties which are very popular. This is a good place to make a stop while exploring Palermo, and you can have on of their famous cake.

Fiesta y Bar Jolie – Av. Córdoba 4175 (VOLT CLUB), Palermo, Buenos Aires, Argentina (Wednesdays nights). The LGBT party that gives you a mid-week break. Their motto is “Wednesday is the new Saturday”. It takes Volt Club, actually, the party has changed locations during the years. It features performers and stand-up comedy, art exhibits, movies, games and more! Tip: You might want to get there before 2 a.m., because around that hour the place gets packed, and there is  a line to get in.

Casa Brandon – Luis María Drago 236 (between Julian Alvarez and Lavalleja) Villa Crespo, Buenos Aires, C1414AIF, Argentina. Casa Brandon is an art/community house. Casa brandon hosts many different and varied weekly activities from karaoke to film nights, art exhibits, all related to LGTB and sexual diversity, and the defense of LGTB rights. Bars that remain closed after COVID:

SITGES – Av. Córdoba 4119 – Palermo , Buenos Aires, C1188AAH Argentina, Phone +54 (11) 4861-3763 (Wednesday – Sunday opens at 22:30). Sitges was one of the biggest Gay bar of Buenos Aires and oldest gay bars remaining befor COVID. It das a mixed crowds of gays and lesbians in their 20’s / 30’s. They presented drag shows on weekdays. It used to get very crowded on weekends after 1 AM. FLUX BAR Marcelo T. Alvear 980 – Retiro, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Phone +54 (11) 5252-0258 (Closed) This bar was an expat living in Buenos Aires Jamie . The bar used to open earlier than most gays bars in BA. Flux was fun and relaxed bar in Downtown to sip some drinks before dinner, or going out, etc. Opened every Monday, Thursday and Saturday there are live DJ´s and used to become more like a party

KM 0 – This was a gay stripper and drag shows bar located in Recoleta located a couple of steps from Santa Fe and Pueyrredon once iconic gay corner). It was the place for stripper shows, has some of the best drag shows in town. As FURIABAR, the bar has closed, but orginzes parties you can check fromn their facebook website.

Bach Bar, Cabrera 4390 – Palermo, Buenos Aires, C1414BGD, Argentina. Transformist Shows. Gay & Lesbian Bar. This bar that has been open for 15 years attracts many lesbian groups.

Pride Cafe – Balcarce 869, Giuffra corner, San Telmo, Buenos Aires, C1064AAQ , Argentina. Telephone  +54 (11) 4300-6435. (Monday – Fridays 9 AM – 8 PM Saturday and Sunday 10 AM – 8 PM). This bar is one of the few queer venues, that is open during the day. You can stop here while you are exploring San Telmo or Downtown area, or make it your breakfast coffee spot if you are staying in the area. The bar is close to the film School, so attracts also film making students apart form gay/lesbian crowds. You can try a Queer café, homemade pastries, or just a special sandwich.
